In nodal centre, we are producing many types of Fruits & Vegetables products with the product brand name of SHIKHAR FOOD PRODUCTS. The marketing promotion has been provided th these products by KVIC, KVIB, DIC, DIRECTORATE INDUSTRIES, DRDA and Horticulture Department and different Departments of Central Government by participating in Trade Fares & Exhibition at State & National Level. The organization has been honoured with the best & excellence awards given by Govt. of Uttarakhand and Govt. of India.

The society is committed to create the awareness of this trade as it (society) is providing the basic training and skilled development programme on Food Processing to the Unemployed Youth, Women & SHG's besides further value addition to the produce of the farmers. Organization also helps in upgrading the basic skills of the growers and opening up the employment avenues for the local unemployed persons in order to enhance their economic status.

HIT SAMITI has vast experience of several years in imparting training in food processing, grading and packing of pahari food products, having worked in different district of Uttarakhand. We have also available training infrastructure. Society is also angaged in other rural development activities like Health, Education, Food & Nutrition, Sanitation, Water Harvesting & Conduct Entrepreneurship Development Programme (ESDP) with IIE/NISBUD/MSME, Govt. of India and District Industries Center in Uttarakhand.
